The sanctuary is still in its infantry stage with room for growth. We are building two new aviaries for our birds in Deland. The aviaries will be 12 feet long and the birds will be able to fly and enjoy the fresh air. Electricity and water will make it easier for us to keep the birds comfortable and provide fresh fruits and vegetables daily.
With additional funding and more volunteers, we hope to build additional housing that could accommodate adopting additional birds.
We are completely dependent on donations to feed and care for our birds. Veterinary care can be costly. Your donations are appreciated and 100 % of the money received is spent on the birds. Donations are tax-deductible as we are a 501 3 C entity. You will receive a thank you letter and a receipt.
